Eco-innovation in agri-food sector

A two days seminar on eco-innovation and sustainability in agri-foodsector will be held at Brussels , Tuesday and Wednesday 17 th and 18 th of December , 2013.

This event will gather all the stakeholders specialized in this field thanks to the collaboration of three different projects:

  • The CIP ECOTROFOOD which organize s a final event meeting its different objectives and activities: promote eco -innovation in food sector, support innovative and sustainable SMEs, increase collaboration between stakeholdersand manage ECOTROPHELIA Europe competition;
  • The ERA -Net SUSFOOD which launche s its second call for proposal in January 2014 and aims through this event to provide SMEs and researchers the opportunity to identify partners todevelop projects;
  • FOODMANUFUTURE which main objective is to profile the food industry of the future and which will also organize its final event.

Various events will be organized in parallel: face to face meetings between eco-innovative companies and investors, a networking event organized around four major topics of sustainability – energy saving , water saving, waste reduction and impact of packaging – , the creation of an ECOTROPHELIA circle and the final events of ECOTROFOODand FOODMANUFUTURE .
